Today’s audio postcard is coming to you from Sedona, Arizona. Sedona’s famous Red Rock Country. Sedona is an oasis on the southern edge of the dry desert country of northern Arizona. Oak Creek provides water to sustain the area. It also offers ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. The town is fun to explore, with a variety of shops, boutiques and galleries that will please any browser or shopper. Sedona has been a resort destination since miners from Jerome began coming here to get away from the daily drudge of mining. (more…)

Dr. Narendra Pendse, from Bombay India, is a highly skilled Ayurveda physician, honored advisor, and colleague of Dr. Thomas and her patients.
Today’s audio postcard is coming to you from Prescott, Arizona. Abraham Lincoln named Prescott as the territorial capital in 1863. It has a rich history, and a well-preserved historic district known as Whiskey Row. More than 500 buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. Nearby Jerome was once a silver mining town perched precariously on the side of Cleopatra Hill. At 5,200 feet, it’s known as the mile-high city. Explore the silver mining operation and tour the town, a mix of miner’s cabins and historic buildings, many of which are now artist’s galleries and shops.
Today’s audio postcard is coming to you from Flagstaff, Arizona. Nearby, tour ancient cinder cones at Sunset Crater National Park in the San Francisco Volcanic Field. Visit ancient pueblos. Some are brick-built on the mesa floor. Others look like swiss cheese, in caves scattered hundreds of feet along sheer canyon walls. Within driving distance are the Painted Desert, the Badlands, and Petrified Forest National Park.
