Rex Wisehart

Rex Wisehart is an (almost) life-long entrepreneur. He spent thirty years a late-stage business turnaround consultant. He attempted thirty-eight turnarounds; twenty-seven of those were successful. He gave up the consulting business in 1999, and today, he is a principal and CEO of seven small businesses.
Wisehart has a bachelor’s degree in finance, plus spent his obligatory law school time – although he is not a lawyer. He never took the Bar exam. He didn’t go to law school to become an attorney – he went to learn the ways of thinking that, he believes, have served him well.
He has also had health challenges. He’s a two-time cancer survivor. He has had 61 surgeries (that’s right – SIXTY-ONE). He has one real knee, one eye, no patellas – and an iron will that refuses to allow him to grow old gracefully. One of his goals in 2008 is to ride his bicycle 6,000 miles. Included in that will be his wife Jill’s celebration ride – a 100 miles in a day gala with supporters and friends to fete her being breast cancer free.
